A New York Supreme Court judge stayed all proceedings in the Noah Doe lawsuit targeting 39,069 dormant bitcoin wallets and scheduled a July 14 hearing on whether to admit an amicus brief filed by Ian R. Cohen, Bitcoin Lawyer Guy and founder of IRC Legal, who argues that New York's lost-and-found statute cannot apply to bitcoin held in self-custody.
